Warehouse cabinets lithium cabinet storage for lithium batteries
W: 1140, D: 760, H: 1930 (mm)|Article code: 41-LOXK2000A
The storage cabinet is designed as an indoor application for the safe storage of Lithium-ion batteries where mainly batteries for electric bikes, e-steps, hand tools, drones, walkie-talkies and the like are envisaged. Two self-closing doors fitted with door contacts. These register if a door is open for more than 5 minutes. The doors have a multi-point locking system and can be locked with a key. Store batteries according to PGS37-2.
The cabinet is equipped with adjustable foot rests and can be moved via the four sides with a pallet truck and/or forklift truck, ensuring that the cabinet can be moved outside quickly in the event of an incident. Overpressure is provided at the top of the cabinet with a flame-resistant mesh. In the event of a sudden rise in temperature and pressure build-up, the overpressure valve will automatically open and allow the built-up pressure to reduce to normal atmospheric value. The LOXK2000 ADVANCED is equipped with forced ventilation against, this keeps heat build-up from batteries within acceptable limits.
There are four adjustable shelf grilles on the inside of the cabinet to adjust the distance between the shelves. The shelves contain a mesh structure and have a load capacity of up to 70 kg. Per shelf grid, a distribution socket with 8 sockets is provided on the back wall for charging the Lithium-ion with a maximum current of 16A per socket.
General operation
- 90 minutes fire resistance
- Air flow 1.21 m³/minute
- Ambient temperature 5-35 °C
- Relative humidity 30-70 %.
- Power supply standard 380 V
- Sound level 94-106 dB(A)
- The cabinet is equipped with 1 smoke detector
Main functionalities:
- Ensure safe operation
- Smoke and fire detection
- Alarm in the event of danger
- Activating aerosol fire suppression
- Lithium fire control in the cabinet to prevent fire spread.
Operation with smoke detection:
With smoke detection, the very first indications of fire danger can be detected. When smoke develops, a signal is triggered and the following steps are taken sequentially:
- Alarm via siren and red flashing light
- Interrupt battery charging
- Switching off active ventilation
- Activating the aerosol generator
